3 New Doty Technologies Were Presented in Technical Posters

Doty Scientific scientists presented three important posters at the 2025 ENC/ISMAR Conference poster session.  Some discussion and links to the posters are presented below.

The first poster, a collaboration between Doty Scientific and Weizmann Institute,  shows impressive images from a unique MRI coil for mouse body or rat brain which was delivered to the Weizmann Institute just before the ENC last year. The high field strength, 15.2 T, and tight spacing (59 mm OD with two coils and a 36 mm ID) made this dual-frequency coil quite challenging. The dual-frequency coil has one coil for high frequency, H-F,  where the coil is tunable from 1H to 19F.  The multinuclear X channel was tuned to 2H for the study of pregnant mice.

MRI 1H and 2H results on a pregnant mouse (E16.5) were recorded in ~2 minute intervals following injection of saline D2O, providing water transport information across the placentas and into individual fetal organs at a level never before seen.  “The probe works very nicely and it’s really a relief to be able to target the full pregnant animal on 1H and 2H without having to search positions fetus-by-fetus with a surface coil.” –  Lucio

The second poster presented a 1200 MHz No-E two-coil, XVT NMR Probe.  This exciting probe extends the Doty No-E two-coil technology to 1200 MHz.   A truly exciting step forward.

Poster 2: “ Two-coil Ultra High Field No-E H/X/Y for XVT MAS and Wideline

The third poster presented updates on a new Switched-Angle-Spinning (SAS) NMR probe and controller.  (The actual probe flipping between angles in the Doty  ENC Suite provided for a unique demonstration of the project.)

Poster 3:  “A Reliable Switched Angle Spinning (SAS) Probe for Solid-State NMR
